Process Live: Hufschmied, Open Mind and VisCheck show milling processes with quality control
On the basis of a CFRP component, visitors to the fair can see a complete machining process - from CAD/CAM to milling and quality evaluation. The exchange of process data during milling and quality assurance data makes it possible to intervene in the machining process in the event of deviations from specified production, quality or threshold values.

Sports equipment: Composites push the limits of technical feasibility
Hardly any sport today can do without equipment made of high-tech materials with fibre reinforcement. New developments are mostly based on high-performance or professional sports. At ever shorter intervals, professional sports equipment is then also available in larger quantities to recreational athletes in mass sports.

Ultralight seat wins Altair Enlighten Award
The "Altair Enlighten Award" recognizes the greatest successes in reducing the weight of vehicles. The ultra-lightweight seat from AMC, csi entwicklungstechnik and Alba tooling & engineering has now received an award in the "Future of lightweight construction" category. The seat will be on display at the Lightweight Technologies Forum in Stuttgart from 10 to 12 September.
